Branding Exploration for AI Project

a concept for the creative direction of an AI thought leadership report at Calendly

 
 

Brief

In 2023, it became a race for SaaS companies to add AI to products. Calendly decided to start with publishing a thought leadership piece on how AI impacts meeting scheduling automation. For this piece, we wanted to create unique branding that would set it apart from the day-to-day Calendly look and feel, showing that it is a special, differentiated item.

about my WORK

The team researched AI branding trends and found purple to be a common color theme. We decided to lean into that finding, with the intention that there was already a consumer association between the color purple and AI.

From there, I styled Calendly’s brand shapes into floating frosted glass 3D bubbles to give the visual idea of futurism with playfulness. I included blue tones to recall Calendly’s blue-forward color palette.
